What’s a coaching session all about?

And how do I get started?!

Each session is different, but the process is the same. In the first few sessions, I will ask more questions to get to know you better, so I can give the best recommendations and support for you. I never recommend the exact same thing to everyone, because each person is unique! The first session typically covers your health history - what brought you here, and where you’re headed on your wellness journey. Once we establish a foundation and goals, we can break them down into action steps and discuss what feels good for you. From there, each session is a recap of your time since the last session (usually 1-2 weeks) and planning your next week. But the powerful change is in your mindset, through establishing healthy habits. I always say it’s not “trial and error,” but “trial and correction,” because what you may initially see as a mistake, failure, etc. is a great opportunity to learn about yourself! This process is what shifts your perspective and makes healthy habits last. Coaching with me is more than just nutritional advice or personal training, stress management tips or a weight loss program. The difference is in the mindset shift and healthy habits, which together create a balanced, enjoyable lifestyle. Diets and workout plans fail because they don’t address your mindset - beliefs about yourself, your outlook, patterned behaviors, etc. I am confident this is the missing piece for you, which is why I offer a results guarantee!
